Efficient and Detail-Oriented
In May 2018, I contacted Eagle Sundecks to provide services to complete a newly built deck in Chilliwack; specifically, I was looking for decking and railing solutions. I was provided with many samples for vinyl decking and ideas and suggestions for aluminum/glass railing options. After making my selections, I was updated on timelines for the manufacturing process and expected installation dates. The wait time was very short and when it came time for installation, I found Andrew and his team to be very professional, efficient, and detail-oriented. Additionally, the products used are very high quality. I couldn’t be happier with how these deck finishes turned out; this space will proudly be used for many years to come!

Andrew and his crew did an excellent job replacing the vinyl on our 40-foot deck. Andrew takes pride in this work and spends time on the parts you can’t see, such as the seams in the plywood, to make sure that the job will be excellent and last a long time. He even put special edging on the overhanging edges so that they won’t curl, something that was not done by other contractors. They worked a 12-hour day to complete the job. I am a council member of a strata property in New Westminster and we have been doing ongoing maintenance work on our wood balconies for the past few years. We have been rebuilding and/or repairing two to three balconies per year as our funds allow.
It has been a real pleasure working with Andrew and his team for the past three years. Andrew is a contractor who always plans ahead and is able to contact myself and/or our property manager in advance, giving us time to contact the owner of the suite we will be working on in order to get permission to enter. At times they have chosen for convenience sake for the owner, to work from the outside of the deck and have used their ladders to access the balcony. His crew keeps in touch during the day updating me on progress or coordinating with me to get the building paint to make sure it matches when they are only patching. They always have a very pleasant and cooperative attitude.
I am impressed that the crew remembers from one year to the next which balconies in our building they have repaired or replaced, even though they must be doing maintenance work on hundreds of buildings.
Their knowledge of the type of supplies to use for each job, the most durable wood, and the most cost-effective means is outstanding. We have not had any issues arise with their workmanship since they have been working with us. I am glad to recommend this team.
